Paint scheme decided on VFA-41 BLACK ACES squadron based on USS Nimitz Aircraft Carrier (CVN-68). April 2008

Rhino came to town! Super Hornet pilots from VFA-102 Diamondback squadron. Flight demo for the recent Singapore Airshow 2008.
Hooked up all 3 tanks (5.2 litres) and spent some time running the turbine, to test out the total run time with these tanks. 2 tanks (2.9L + 1.15L) will be used for main flight and remaining 1.15L side tank for smoke oil.
Flap servos - Hitec HS-5955TG, Aileron servos - JR DS3401
Rudder servos - JR DS3301
Anti-Collision Red Strobe lights on both rudders.
Navigation white light on right rudder only.
Navigation lights on port side wing.
Nanigation lights on starboard side wing.
Created hardwood blocks to support the hinge covers.
LED lights for main wings done.
2 main wings, 2 elevators and 2 rudders ready to be painted.
Rudder fonts and logos done.
Dorsal antaenna fabrication.
Both elevators' fonts done.
Front landing gear door details.
Undercarriage oil stains and weathering airbrushed.
